Juliana Yamada is an independent photojournalist based in San Francisco, CA, with a unique focus on culture, identity, and politics. As a 2024 Women Photograph mentee and grant recipient, she’s passionate about using her lens to connect with people, share their stories, and make a meaningful impact in their communities. Juliana has a particular interest in exploring the Japanese American experience and is currently open for photo assignments throughout the Bay Area.
